Talented birds take over the London film scene

Female filmmakers from all over the world are the stars of this party, as males typically dominate the position in this field. BEV aims to highlight some of the most talented ladies in the business.
There will be plenty of local and international film screenings from all types of genres, including shorts, documentaries and features. Visitors can join in on the celebrations being had at the BFI Southbank, the ICA and other venues around the English capital. Travelers should not miss out on the insightful interviews with film directors, workshops, lectures, award shows and more.
One showing that the BEV has emphasized is "Bloody Women: From Gothic to Horror," which examines women's contributions to horror, vampire, gothic, psychodrama and more films.
The festival in London will take place between March 8 and 17.
