Day 1

Arrive at Cape Town International Airport, where you will be met and transferred to the Cape Grace Hotel hotel for a 4-night stay. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 2

This morning, you will be picked up and transferred to the Bo Kaap for the Cape Malay Cooking Safari Tour. You will get to know the aspects of the cultural diversity of Cape Town with an interactive guided walk through the historical heart of the Bo-Kaap and a mini shopping safari, where you will discover typical ingredients. The highlight is to visit a local family's home and participate in a hands-on fun-filled cooking session and demonstration before savoring a full traditional lunch. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 3

This morning, you will be picked up and transferred to the Winelands on one of the area's most prominent wine estates for a fun-filled Bread Making in the Winelands Tour.

You will get to make and shape your own different doughs including, focaccia, ciabatta and soda bread. While the breads bake, enjoy a cellar tour and wine tasting of award winning wines. After lunch, spend some free time to meander down the principle road of Franschhoek, which boasts small boutiques and a chocolate tasking boutique for those with a sweet tooth. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 4

Spend this day at your leisure.

Explore all the things Cape Town has to offer, including its world renowned natural beauty and an abundance of picturesque beaches. Explore the numerous shopping venues, from its boutiques, art galleries, and craft markets; Cape Town has something that caters to every taste and style.

Day 5

This morning, you will be picked up and transferred to Cape Town International Airport for your departure flight to Johannesburg. Arrive in O.R. Tambo International Airport where you will be met and transferred to the Crowne Plaza Johannesburg - The Rosebank Hotel for a 3-night stay. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

Day 6

This morning, you will be picked up at sunrise and transferred to the Magaliesberg River Valley for a Hot Air Balloon Ride Tour. Sip beverages while hovering gently above the tree tops. The exceptional piece of this unique and almost supernatural view of the world will forever remain as a truly cherished memory. After landing, savor a delectable and generous champagne breakfast at the beautifully appointed Clubhouse, Pavilion and Restaurant. Return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7

After a day of exploring Johannesburg, spend the evening star-gazing at the Aloe Ridge Observatory and Restaurant. Your journey through the universe begins with a 16" Meade Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope.

You will be shown the galaxy in which we live, the Milky Way, as seen from a distance. You also will get the chance to find a comet and name it. In addition the finder gets to participate in the Edgard Wilson Award competition for amateur astronomers in the USA. Following the comet and supernova hunts, guests are invited to visit the observatory in the company of the on-site Astronomer. Enjoy your a là carte dinner and return to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 8

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight home.
